Hi, my name is Kerri
and
I am a clogger!

I know, it sounds like I'm starting a 12 step program.  But its true, I am addicted.

All About Clogging

Although this site is dedicated to Clogging in Alberta - there is clogging in most Canadian Provinces and most American States.  Please feel free to contact me if you are looking for clogging in your area or check out the Clogging Clubs pages.

If you'd like to read my personal clogging story, click here.  Or if you'd like to read my CLOG BLOG, click here.

I also teach Line Dance Fitness and ZUMBA®, click here for more information on these classes.

Please spend a few minutes looking around, once you are done and you think "I can do this", You Can!!!, e-mail me or call (780) 922-6821 and I'll guide you on your way.  I'd be happy to give private lessons or have a workshop in your area if clogging isn't currently available.

Instructors Notes

Most of my classes are multilevel. Come for any or all of the class for one price - levels are determined by the degree of difficulty of steps that are taught in different routines.

If you don't know how to clog at all  - come for the first half hour.  If you are comfortable with all the 27 beginner steps - start at the basic+ time.  If you are still learning the easy intermediate steps, start at the basic+ time.  If you know all of the steps from the easy intermediate list, warm up with easy intermediate and stay for intermediate.  There is at least one new dance and new steps at each level each week.  In the last dictionary I received, there are over 3000 steps.  Step lists are posted here as clogging is a continually evolving dance these lists are by no means complete, just a guideline for choreographers.  Intermediate steps may be put in Easy Intermediate dances, Advanced steps may be in Intermediate dances.

Personal Note:  I never get tired of dancing all levels of dances, especially beginner dances. I just love to dance and I don’t care if it’s a beginner dance or an advanced one.  Unfortunately, I do know some experienced dancers who feel that once they feel they have achieved a "level", they may feel that  lower level dances are no longer challenging. There are always new steps being created and new dances being choreographed so dancing at a "lower" level will always have something new.  I have come to the realization that I can't please everyone but the future of clogging depends on recruiting new beginners.  Do remember that we’ve all been beginners at one point and the love of dance and music and sharing the experience with each other  is what brought us to clogging in the first place.  I don't think anyone knows all 3000+ steps that have been documented and there are always more being developed so are you up for the challenge!
